I've tested a few different patterns, these are the easiest tutorials I found so far. Masks must be made with 100% cotton fabric. I use pipe cleaner for the nose piece, cut to 6" (3" for kids masks). Thank you Sweet Red Poppy for publishing your instructions. Have fun!
Cut fabric:
Adult: Mask 9" x 7", elastic 7" - 3 pleats
Toddler & Kid: Mask 7" x 5", elastic 6" - 2 pleats
Infant: Mask 7" x 4", elastic 5.5" - 2 pleats
A simple face mask with elastic for behind the ears. Before top stitching, I created a pocket/casing at the top for the nose wire.
Same as the mask as above, but with bias tape for ties. I had a hard time finding bias tape, so I made some with ribbon as a substitute. I cut the bias min 40".
I created a spreadsheet to easily calculate how much fabric you'll need to make masks and bias tape. Edit the white cells with a bold border and the yellow cells will auto-calculate.
